Glasswells removals can also continue to enhance their reputation for a personal, door-to-door service; incredibly, this door-to-door service extends to international relocations, an area of the business that has really taken off over the last few years. Customers have a hassle free service where Glasswells do everything from one country to the next throughout Europe, and for destinations further a field, the company has a network of trusted partners to provide an extension of their reliable service.

Glasswells have always retained staff and have recently restructured their business following the semi-retirement of Fred Raison as Removals & Transport Manager, after an impressive 38 years of service at the company. Fred comments, “I believe the staff loyalty comes from a combination of the friendliness of the entire team, the on-going training, helping both individuals and the company, and the way the team unite and really knuckle down and work together.”
Bob Allen, Removals & Transport Manager adds, “Glasswells is a traditional company, but only in the high quality of service we provide. We are, and continue to be, forward thinking and like most companies we are constantly looking at ways to enhance our business, we pay particular attention to our customers, and we are reaping the rewards from this. Since opening our purpose built storage and distribution centre in 1999, we have extended it already. We are now improving other areas of our business such as the standard of our fleet and ensuring we maintain our commitment to continued customer focus and staff development.”
The Glasswells management team consists of Bob Allen, overseeing UK removals and storage; he is joined by Lez Hill on international removals and Rob Hailstone, Warehouse Manager who looks after the distribution of products and essential stock control.
