New Ipswich Store Opening this Autumn
Building and refurbishment works for the new £5 million, 73,000 sq ft home furnishing store in Ipswich are underway, with a planned opening this autumn.
Work started at the Orwell Retail Park on 25th March 2008 and will take just 32 weeks to complete. The finished development will be a wonderful new store that will extend the unique Glasswells shopping experience to those in and around Ipswich.
Offering furnishings and decorative items for the entire home, the new store will have a massive choice of lounge and dining room furniture, beds, bedroom and flooring, as well as those finishing touches such as curtains, linens, lighting and bathroom accessories. There will also be a large gift department and cookware selection, offering everything for the kitchen including china, cutlery, electrical goods, plus all the essential utensils. There will also be a design centre for those seeking new inspirational ideas and styles for their home, plus a professional interior design service. The children can be amused in the PlayZone whilst the adults browse round the store or take time out in the restaurant, which offers the finest meals, snacks and refreshments everyday; something that has become famous at their Bury St. Edmunds store, especially their delicious scones and tempting cakes, all delivered through a traditional waitress service.
