New ‘Extra Healthy’ Furniture Manager at Glasswells
Glasswells World of Furniture in Bury St. Edmunds has appointed a new Furniture Manager who not only knows his furniture, he also has the secret to healthy living.
Having worked for Glasswells for over 26 years, Brian Bugg has been promoted to the role of Furniture Manager at the Bury store. Although his name may suggest otherwise, Brian has not had one day off sick during this entire time at the company.
In 1982 Brian started work at the old Sudbury store as a Junior Salesman, since he has moved from Carpet Manager at the old Braintree store to Assistant Furniture Manager at the flagship store along Newmarket Road in Bury. His new role includes overseeing the day-to-day furniture requirements within the store, undertaking furniture sales and liaising with the many customers within the store.
Brian comments, “I really enjoy working at Glasswells and can’t believe it is 26 years already. I feel that the secret to having no time off for sickness over all these years is that if you enjoy what you do and keep smiling, it is reflected in those around you, helping to make a great working environment and helping to keep you happy and healthy.”
