Glasswells Had a Record Breaking Christmas
Glasswells have experienced the busiest December on record, making the highest number of customer deliveries they have ever made during the busy Christmas month. All stock and customer deliveries from their furniture stores, based throughout East Anglia, are handled from their purpose built storage and distribution centre in Kempson Way, Bury St. Edmunds. December saw the number of customer deliveries reach a massive 2,015, made through utilising 145 delivery vehicles, a huge increase of 16% on last year. |
Paul Glasswell comments, “We had a feeling December was going to be busy, however it far exceeded our expectations. It really did put the personnel, tailored systems and procedures to the test and I am pleased to say we passed with flying colours.
